Who is responsible for customs charges on international orders?
For all international deliveries outside of the UK, the customer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in the price of the product or shipping cost. Please note the following important considerations when ordering temperature-sensitive items for international delivery (outside the UK):
High-Temperature Destinations:
In regions with extreme climates—such as the UAE, where temperatures can exceed 50°C—we cannot take responsibility for any degradation of temperature-sensitive products during transit. While many local courier networks (e.g. DHL) implement air-conditioned logistics systems, customers accept full responsibility when shipping to hot environments.
Optional Cold Chain Packaging:
For added protection, we offer the option to pack cold chain items in a polystyrene container with ice packs for an additional charge of £33. This packaging is intended to enhance temperature stability during the initial stages of shipping; however, we do not guarantee product integrity upon arrival and cannot accept liability for any temperature-related damage.
